I was browsing ebay and came across this:

Go to ebay and search up item number: 270116124447

Now is it just me or does he have his specs wrong? Seems to me that what he's implying about his engine is quite bogus. I thought only the JDM H22A Type-S had that HP and it would e a red valve cover. I could be wrong though. Thanks.

Yeah I kinda thought so. I hope the people who are bidding realizes that soon. Its quite funny what he says though:

"Also, V-TEC (the coveted Honda air-intake mechanism; increases air intake at higher RPMs for higher performance) kicks in at 5000 RPMs, giving it a serious edge on the road."

What?! Is this guy taking crazy pills?!

People who bid on that car deserve a swift kick to the balls.

I know this is late, but I found out that this person bought the car on e-gay and was scammed! SHE re-posted up what the previous owner had written in his specs. lol]
Isn't that basically re-scamming?

Freakin V-tec... air intake... I cannot stop laughing at this. Fool.

Hmmm, do any of you guys know how VTEC works?

All conditions meet, the pressure switch releases oil that floods a galley, locking the rockers to engage a second set of cam lobes that do what? Allow more air to be taken into the chambers. Allow more air to be taken into the chambers? Poorly worded, yet technically correct.

I thought that it just advanced the valve timing. It may also increase valve lift, but the main purpose is to advance timing, not "increase air flow"

:shrug2: i dunno I'm usually wrong.

VTEC cams are designed to have a more aggressive cam profile for higher RPMs. This can mean more duration, higher lift, and advanced timing. The overall goal is to increase air into the engine at higher RPMs where cam profiles for low end trq choke at these higher RPMs.

i-VTEC has a mechanism that acts like and adjustable cam gear and advances valve timing constantly.

Dude, if you put it that way... Everything that you do to your motor revolves around getting more air in, and pushing more air out, as quickly as possible.
After all, your engine really is just a vaccum.
