parents need to beat their kids.

shit, when I was a kid, I wasn't even allowed to have a fucking GameBoy (and mind you, this was when they were those big VHS-cassette-sized grey monstrosities), much less an ipod. I can't believe how much society has changed since I've been out of school...kids are fucking out of control.

Parents, beat your children.

6abc.com: Students Break Teacher's Neck

looks like one kid kneeled behind him while the other pushed him...
they say it was caught on camera but i haven't found the video yet...

or not...
Boykin tripped or pushed Burd in the hallway after the teacher had taken away his iPod during class, prosecutors said.
Burd fell toward Footman, a ninth grader, who took the opportunity to punch the teacher several times, causing him to fall and strike his head against a locker, prosecutors said. Footman, who was cutting classes at the time, didn't know Burd or Boykin. It wasn't the first time he had hit a teacher, however. Footman had been dismissed from Roosevelt Middle School after assaulting a teacher and was on the verge of being expelled from Germantown. He had been absent 45 days and suspended 11 times, and was getting D's and F's in his courses this year, prosecutors said.

Give the teacher a Tazer and put a camera in the classroom.

That proves self defence for the teacher if he is attacked.

problem 1 - this was in the hallway
problem 2 - he was pushed and then punched in the face, no reaction time
problem 3 - its already on tape

i would say ditch the tape in the classroom and give teachers free range with the tazer
things would probably get a lot better in schools

which starts at home with the shitty parents

part of the problem is that parents are fucking pussies. If i got in trouble, my dad hit me, sent me to my room for hours, hit me again, put me (pretty much) under house arrest, no tv/phone/computer/video games, hit me again, and then they watched me like hawks whenever I went out (i.e. driving by where i was hanging out or contacting friends parents), then they hit me again.

THe other problem is that kids now-a-days, more than when i was a kid, think they are the shit. They think they own the world and they can do whatever the fuck they want... which all leads back to parents in the end. So ok, the problem is with the parents first which trickles down to the kid.

Im going to beat my kid (not like, beat the shit out of, but you know.. give him a good hit to the head and even take out the yardstick or belt) when im a parent. Kids should have a fear of their parents, with fear comes respect.

reminds me of the samuel l. jackson movie "187". no wonder teachers want to hold a .38 in the desk. stupid ass hoodlums.

Words of wisdom that should really be taken to heart. I wasn't technically "beaten" as a child, but as it said above - I had the fear of God in me. My mother was more of nuisance, but was still taken seriously. But if I pissed off my father enough for him to raise his voice - ohhhh shit......

This story is fake. Philadelphia is a democratic town with an open gay community, public health programs that rival Britain, Welfare checks for anyone that asks for it, a complete ban on guns and public displays of religion.

So it's got to be fake, right ?
