I have a 2001 Acura Integra LS. Its all stock at the moment, as I just got it recently. My Question for you all is wither I should Turbo Charge(or Supercharge, Whatever gives more power) my B18b1 and do some headword. Or Get a B18c5.
The B18c5 Will cost 4500US, But For 4500US I know I can do alot to my B18b1.
I want whatever will give me the most bang for the buck.

Thanks for your input.

I totally agree with onesikdb8 and ahhvtec.

Believe me, spooling a turbo is MUCH more "pleasurable" than VTEC engaging.

i agree. ive got a gsr in a 89 crx and dont get me wrong, it runs very quickly. but i just dropped an ls motor into my 92 eg and my plan is to go ls turbo

Thanks for the input Guys. I am going to Turbo Charge my B18b1. I plan on having the head port and polished. Is there anything else I need done to get the most power of it besides installing the Turbo and doing the headwork?

Don't plan on more than 8-9 psi if you're leaving your bottom-end stock.

There are PLENTY of articles and discussions about building an LS-Turbo.

totally turbo your ls man they can be fast one of my friends had a ls turbo hatch back that ran low 13's on a stock motor

if your budget was 4500, you can make a bulletproof bottom end AND do your headwork, and if you spend wisely, piece together a good turbo kit. otherwise, you're stuck with low boost. If the money's in your pocket, slap the GSR head on there, then boost it.

boost + vtec = fun

boost the ls hell i built a bottom end on my a1 for 2200 that will handle 15 psi and 450 hp i got nippon pistons there bad ass and i put gsr connecting rods for compression i only ran it about ten minutes i think the head is bad so im sellin the block with all that brand new stuff and goin gsr all the way but deff. the ls there bad
