ah fuck it. I bought them. I might end up getting new shocks later since mine have 85k miles on them.

wow, those really suck.. should have just gone with a spring

i bet they are motorcycle springs...

i bought a set years ago... they were only on for a night.

I need coilovers to raise the car back up for winter driving since it is my daily driver. Fort wayne sucks at plowing the roads so I don't want to do it for them.

true.. but you should have gone a little better than those..

We'll see I guess. Prolly end up getting new shocks before putting them on anyway.

By a little better, what do you mean? Real Ground Controls? I was looking at them before I bought these, and they're like 150 a piece.

well, it depends on how low you go.. but from the way you said plow the streets for them, i figured you were gonna go low low

Probably about 1.5" or so from stock height. Over the snowing months I'll just raise it back up to stock height. I'm not BDN or recked, i don't like things being slammed because of the potholes in the roads. lol

Fort Wayne gets about 3-10 inches of snow a year, usually with one major snow fall that's 6" +. It'll take them about 5 hours to start plowing.

the oem shock is meant to travel a certain amount. the lower CO/spring the faster it will wear out....

"sport" shocks are shorter and are made for the lowering springs.

Yeah, if I get new shocks they'll be a good aftermarket set.
