What would you rather hear, the whistle of a turbo or the whine of a supercharger
 
but it a great thing when you shift and everybodys heads turn cause they hear the psh
 
I love them both. The whistle of a turbo can get annoying though. Like when you're along the right side of a semi...

but then the whine of a supercharger can get annoying, like the Eatons on 03-04 SVT Cobras with an upgraded pulley. VERY high pitched.

Never have I heard anyone who has a Turbo car say anything bad about the annoying sound they make. I for one love being next to a semi because I miss the sound.

as far as the BOV you can have them with both turbos and superchargers.

I don't mind it most of the time, but when you're right next to one with a headache, and the guy hammers it, it's annoying.
 
I like to hear the Fast and the Furious music start playing in the background when i hit the nitrous button on my steering wheel...
