I have a b16 engine is it possible to get 600 hp from it if so what kinda turbo kit am i looking for and what internal goodies is needed. I hope i wouldn't break that much parts lol. Any how wha bruk cho way. in dialect terms.

350 hp is a more realistic goal w/ boost... 600hp, you're gonna have some serious traction problems.. let me guess, this will be your daily driver too..

no its only driven 5 times a month

well if it's possible i got nothing but time the only problem i got is i have no dyno machine yet in my country everything else is there

well, you could boost a b16 to 350 on stock internals.. but as said before.. if you got deep pockets, anything is possible

on stock internals

set me up with the receipe for 350 on stock internals i'll try that before going for the 600 which i really want

no idea what the hell that guy said.. he's on my ignore list.. but dont listen to him, he has not a clue what he's talking about

so how much hp would get me 11.2 sec comfortably

If the b16 can get me to 11.2 consistently it stays if it doesn't im ging out to look for a K20 engine

Figure what, about $4k to build the engine and at least that much in a turbo kit? Then $3-4k+ into the suspension and brakes. You'll need to spend another $3-4k on wheels and tires that will hold the power.

Figure that the 2000 BMW M4 has just under 400hp and is faster in a straight line than a rocket powered car. I'll find the clip and post it if you want, but it's a long load unless you have high speed. This car also weighs in at a hefty 4000lbs (1825kg). My point being, you really don't need that much power in a Honda that weighs around 2000lbs. And to top it off, you can buy a 2000 M5 for around $25,000. Your 600hp will cost you almost half of that.

you really think an 11.2 1/4 is gonna be comfortable.. it'll be a jarring ride, far from comfortable

350 hp is easily achievable with a b16a swap. No hands on experience, but I think it's as easy as a bolt-on turbo kit with a boost controller and a good dyno tune :). $2,500 shipped b16a changeover with misc. parts you'll need and if you can install it yourself that's the swap price, then maybe $4,000 for a bolt-on turbo, and roughly $80/hour of dyno tuning.

HP to get to 11.2? That would depend on other mods like weight reduction, tuning, racing experience, gear ratios. 2 cars weighing the same, one has 300 hp the other has 400 hp, if the guy running 300 hp has more experience, a really good tune, better gear ratios, while the other guy with 400 hp has garbage tuning and gear ratios/racing experience, the guy running 300 will most likely take the win. There's a lot of factors that can change the amount of hp to hit a certain et :).

that would be damn expensive though it would make an intersting project. I think you would wanna just by a dart block for that.
