Was looking on ebay for my buddy who was asking me to help him find a H22a1 for his prelude. So I came across this block . Please share your opinion. I asked what where the manufacture of the sleeves, and what makes it so rare. Her reply was , this is what I was told, I have been getting alot of people who think they know alot about this. thanks .

for those who don't know anything about Hondas, their motors, or anything at all... RARE is a key word. When searching, it creates more interest. She probably thinks someone will believe her and bid some rediculous amount.

"rare" gets you nothing anyway, even if it was rare. My Celica was numbered, and no one would give me shit for it. My Cosworth is rare and I catch nothing but horseshit for it. Artwork is all you can count on for rare and value.
 
it has "NO 2/94" engraved on the block

I'm assuming a build/cast date although thats pretty weird

I've never had an H22 or really looked at one up close/out of the car so maybe they're all like that
