i was wondering the labour costs for installing a h22 into a 95 civic hatch

It would be a lot of money and time.....think about it, EVERYTHING HAS TO BE CHANGED. Axles, shift linkage, radiator, halfshaft, motormounts, cutting the engine harness and adding/repinning the ECU. Understeering is a HUGE problem. Your easily looking at 4k just for all this stuff and in some cases, you haven't even touched what needs to be replaced on the donor engine.

If I was you, I would look into a K20A. With that kind of time and money spent, the K20a isn't too far from home with the H series. And it would smoke anything.

I've never heard anyone with an H say they wish they had something else. The K swap is super sweet but is HIGH dollar and if you're asking about labor prices on an install, you're probably not gonna like the price tag on it. Go with the H and do it yourself. There's enough tech support around to get you through it. I don't know anything about K swaps, but I'm pretty sure if you use anything other than D you're gonna have to change Axles, Mounts etc., anyway.

never pay more than $1000 for a swap. even that is major rapage. $400-$700 is acceptable.
