i could be mistaken but i couldve sworn that honda made at least one 6speed tranny for the b series engine, does anybody know for sure? or am i just living on hopes?

not that i know of. all i can think of are b16, b18, b20. none have a 6 speed.

6 speed came in the f20c/f22 from the s2k.

i was hoping somebody would confirm the bseries 6 spd. i have a b16 in mine, i wanna put a ls 5th in but i know that it wouldnt be good for racing, so i was hoping for a 6th gear. but i guess im gonna have to opt for a ls 5th and suffer from performance but at least i wont be sittins at around 5k goin the interstate

you drive a honda, you should be used to it by now

dude.. how many times does he need to say it.. there was never a 6 speed b-series tranny.. and i believe the k20 from the RSX has a 6 speed also.. but no B's

Honda never made one for the consumer market, but I'm pretty sure I've seen a conversion kit to place a 6th gear in the transmission in place of the reverse gear. Racing applications only- and you lose the ability to go backwards.

Yea I believe the K20 from the RSX actually has both 5 and 6 spd transmissions. 5 in the base model, 6 in the Type S. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure my friend's RSX is a 5spd.

yeah, the type s comes in 6sp. i knew the k series has one, i was just mistaken and thought the b series had one too.

dude anything is do able.. my mechanics just converted my auto 95 civc to a 5 speed.. lol , with enough money you can prolly make your self a 7 speed b series ahah

there is a 6sp for the d series engines also but would probably be useless in your car. it was in the old civic station wagons with the awd.(if its like the Subaru's you can just leave the rear drive shaft off) or what I would do is just throw a rear axle(solid-easier to mount) under it probably off a 1st gen rx7(rear disc brakes and a narrow rear end might fit nicely under a honda, lol)

I also wouldn't doubt it if the after-market offers a 6spd. like Mugen or something(but of course your going to pay out the ass for it;))
