I fig that I'll use the first 10K to spend some time and relax, shop for some more crap that will pimp out my car's, and get back with about $7K's, then get some more tools like a chop saw, mig, and replace a few broken hand tools, then use a few grand to buy materials to do a patio, sheath the garage, prop up a shed, and find a cheap used hot tub. And get the walls in the kitchen and the wifes office sheetrocked, painted, and maybe snag a decent TV.

I also snagged a side job working part time for $30+ an hour....so it will help out down the road... plus this new side job's bennies might make me want to work there full time. $50 a flight in the US, and $100 a flight international.... :ph34r:

same as why a teenager has a credit card....my card is just bigger. Plus once one or two of the cars are done....then they hit ebay. and at least 75% will come back to me... Then I can buy something I really want. Like a mint condition 69 fairlady roadster...and drop an SR20 into it. End all the funky car projects and settle with just one car.... Hell, I don't even drift or autocross anymore...so it's just going to be a fun car, settle on a daily driver like a new Subaru...and sell the house in three years when its done. And flip it like a finished whore. I guess the torn down walls depreciated the value of the house, so one those go up, along with some new siding, new roof, new windows and door, and a new interior...then it should hit the market in the mid 3's....

I am pissed that it appraised so low....the guy looked and acted like he was in a hurry.... dickhead driving a BMW. :mad:

Just closed 5 minutes ago.... Countrywide.

When I get back it will be time to find some decent contractors. I might bite the bullet, and draw it all out to bang out the house, then get it re-appraised when the work is done...and refi with a 30 year fixed...dropping the 15 year fixed I have now... Have a 260K+ home, and financed for less than 200K's for 30 years...shouldn't be too bad. Which would be the same payment I'm doing now....and when I sell it, I'll get more back than what I put into it.
 
I don't plan on living here for 30 years...once it's worth something...then it's for sale. The wife has MS, and this house is not MS friendly... too many floors. And the house is too big for just two of us and the garage is too small for me.
