...Hi...
Soon i'll be installing my new IM on my motor. I have 370cc injectors waiting to be installed when I get ready for tuning. For now I've been running around with the stock injectors & ecu. What I need to know is if I install 370cc injectors on the stock rail/fpr, will the stock ecu (P30) regulate them or will they just flow a hella more & run rich?

The ECU should regulate them to stock flow.
no, the ecu will assume he has stock injectors. and with the aid of the only O2 sensor, it can only adjust so much. so yes, you will run rich.

So basically the fuel free flows up to the injectors, and the ECU can only do so much? If it's tuned to flow x and the injectors can handle xx, then it will end up flowing xx amount then?

That makes sense. I stand corrected, I thought backwards.

I thought the ecu would adjust up to like 20% from stock? -Gary
its around that yea, but 370cc injectors are more than 20% bigger than the stock 240cc

James, if the ECUcould adjust for anything you wouldnt need to get tuned when you make changes, but of course thats not correct. the only way the ECUcan affect fuel is with the injectors, it doesnt know if you change to larger ones or not. the stock narrow band sensor wil see that its running rich, but it doesnt know how much.
