Yup, did it while playing softball... well it wasnt even a game, it was practice which makes it even worse. Went diving for a line drive to my right (i play 1st), chest hit ground first and feet came slapping down to the ground. I dunno how my toe hit, whether it was straight on or angled, but all i know is its gonna take 2-6 weeks.

Its not the toe itself, but the joint right behind my big right toe. Its fractured on the bottom around to the side. It blows big time because I'm hesistant to ride my motorcycle while its broken, in fear of downing and really fucking my foot up (and possibly not being able to use the rear brake properly) AND im going to be limited to a 1/2 inning in softball when im the only guy who can play 1st base well...if i can even play at all. Now i have to hobble everywhre and i got stuck with this ultra fashionable piece of footwear.

Ive never broken/fractured anything before, and ive fucked myself up pretty good. Ive gone to the hospital and had the doctor say "you should have broken your leg/arm/knee/ankle/shoulder" and i get a fractured toe from practice.

[iverson] Practice. Practice!! We're talkin bout practice. [iverson]

not exciting, i know, but whatever ^_^

that sucks indeed
i broke 2 bones in my hand back in the day
took the cast off after 2 or 3 weeks

lol not too bad....

my x got her toe's shattered 7months pregnant... i think karma gave her a little call ^_^
you name your boots?

That's what you get for playing softball ya queer! :p

rofl!!

They didnt even give me any meds, "take tylenol, ice it, keep it elevated, and try to stay off it as much as possible." Thanks a lot, jerks. Im thinking ill go back in at the end of next week and say the pain hasnt gotten any worse and tylenol does nothing :D Since they did say come back in 5 days if it doesnt feel any better. I think im gong to get hurt more often, since my medical ins pays 100% and only a $3 co pay for perscriptions, there are hoards of hot chicks there, gotta love a hospital that is part of the university.

omfg you bitch....

when i had my shoulder dislocation problem (i couldnt get it back in when i popped it at school) all i got was a teacher punch me in the arm and a hot coffee over my head

i think i got panadol(asprin) for the shoulder reconstruction (months later)

wasnt it romantic ^_^

haha, im not saying that there is a whole lot of pain, sure i feel pain at all times especially when i walk, but i just want some damn drugs :D

I may have broken my little toe once.. Kicked the shit out of a gas pipe that was capped off, but sticking out of a floor. It hurt for about 2 months.. But I never went to the doctor over it.. Figured he'd x-ray it and tell me to stay off of it. Then bill me $987698654876. I mean, you cant really cast or even properly brace a little toe..

I've broken both of my big toe's at the joint. Skiing, so much compression from the landing that my feet exploded. Wasn't that bad though.

I was skiing by the next weekend.

x2
Haha, jk

No pun intended... Any injuries below the waste line SUCK! Been there, done that. I feel for ya, especially when it stops you from tons of activities you enjoy. I learned the hard way that the difference between getting better and worse is the difference between "It'll be fine" and "It's fine" =). I hope it gets better, good luck.
