good.. keep the shit on the track.. maybe people will realize that one day and we'll have a lot less fucktards driving around..

The agencies would make more money parting out the cars, but I guess that would just put the stuff back into the idiots hands.

Take it to the track FTW. Speaking of that, I wish we had a track that wasn't over an hour and a half away. I'd go constantly.

Street racing cordless phones is just as dangerous.

Probably doesn't look as bad as mine does

they only got crushed because of illegal and stolen parts. if they had legal swaps and no stolen parts they probably wouldnt be crushed. just how it seems from reading the article.

I understand the stolen parts thing, but illegal in Cali is a super fine line as everything seems to be illegal from an officer simply 'inspecting the part' while looking under the hood.

I wonder if the owners got any chance to show the paperwork and possibly the fact that the car is BAR'd and legal.

Well know they're supposed to have a task force that's strictly to crack down on tuners and supposedly the officers know their shit on what they're looking for when they tell you to pop your hood

Cpl. Jeff Higbee: "All of the cars have either illegal transmission, or an illegal engine in them. We went through the criminal process on the cases that we could. All of the cars have been through a civil process, for having numbers removed or stolen parts in them. And they've been ordered to be crushed."
i don't agree with the street racing thing, but illegal engine or transmission? Too much governmnet is bad government. I really think that the lawmakers infringe upon our liberties too much with shit like this. I understand it's not a perfect world and that the best is trying to be done with a bad situation, but damn that sure is a f'd up way to go about it.

The street scene was born in southern california?

Thats a bold statement. I think it was born when the first pair of automobiles rolled out of the assembly plant.
