140mph in f22b1?

Does anyone know if the 5 sp with the f22b1 would hit higher speeds quicker than the auto? My auto is fairly quick up to 100, but then the climb is VERY gradual, it took miles and miles to hit 130, I've heard that it will hit the 140 that the speedometer says, but I ran out of road. Anyone ever hit 140 with the stick?

You never said NA accord hitting 140, just a stick accord

Auto's have a real OD gear where a stick isnt geared as tall in 5th. Its a lil easier to accel in a manual in 5th then an auto in the OD gear.

Haha, I only got mine to 130mph after like MILES of flooring it, so I wouldn't know. But 98 h22 accord, the f22b1 isn't what comes factory in your 98 accords, and they changed the trannies after that year, too...

well i thought i was the only one with that problem i have a 95 coupe and i run out off road or to many cars to get to 140 but one time i had no problems and the car hit 100 and it took for ever to hit 120 than 130 and that was it to many cars here in kansas city mo

i know what ya mean mines good up to bout 160(km) then after thing its slow going...most i got was 195...not to many good streches around here either..got 200000 km's with orignal wires dont think that helps lol^_^

it really dosehit 130 alot quicker than i expected once my recorder is fixed ill try to get a vid next time im on the stretch of road i did it last time and ill be shure to add pics and video of the engine to show its deffinatly stock

Its alot slower when you're watching a video. You don't realize how much time has passed when you are actually driving at that speed.

that is true but anyways anyone know anything about Honda check engine light codes I'm getting 6 short beeps when i turn the key on i don't know if its just a normal thing or what my check engine light dose come on in my 93 accord ex but I'm trying to figure out why without blowing money at Honda to find out i could have just stuck a hot dog in the gas tank and it would flashed a error code under the dash hahaha HELP!!!
