this is my suspension i would like to run

I have a set of Toyo Proxies 4 or w.e idk i got the tires with the car

Skunk 2 Spring

KYB AGX

and Password JDM Sturt Bar Package (Password:JDM Strut Tower Bar Package | JDM Honda Parts, JDM Honda Engines / JDM Nissan Motor Swaps, Used JDM Parts - Password JDM)
idk if that strut bar thing is any good, what has been peoples experience with them?

otherwise what could be improved on my setup (i dont feel the need to buy cheap coilovers (aka less then 2k) when spring and struts give u the same performance for less

my car is a 94 Civic LX

those tires kinda suck
the springs are WAY too stiff for those shocks (you will end up bouncing like a pogo stick)
the strut bar package is pretty good

so i should just spend the extra money and get a set of Koni's? or keep with Skunk2 and get there Struts?

and i know the tires suck, but i plan on changing the rims soon to some HX wheels, so i'll have to get tires then (15's now) and i'll get some better tires then

Proxies really do suck.

Way too expensive. The only reason people use them is because they are marketed religiously thru every tire shop in the country.

Ditch those and grab some BFG G-force Sport tires. They are the best bang for your buck tire on the market . . . at $75 each.

They are the only tire I could actually get my 240sx to grab the road with (not chirp 4th gear), and they saved my life in a near-accident once.

well i didnt buy these tires, they were the ones that came with the car (you should see the rims that came with them) but yea once i get some HX wheels i'll look into tires, right now i'm looking at springs/struts

i just want to know if i should spend the extra money and get Koni's or is there some other struts out there i should buy instead

find out the spring rates on the springs you are planning to run
then find a shock that works well with that spring

if you want to stick with the AGXs then the neuspeed street springs match up with them very well

what are you lowering the car for? just for looks / mild handling increase or are you going to be tracking / auto crossing the car?

the more information you give us the better we can try to help you
