sorry boss, its turbo
is it true that you can use the connecting rods from an integra ls, in a d16y7, if so how much boost can they handle?

i know there's diffrent piston heads that can fit in the dseries as well

i wanna build my engine to handle 14lbs of boost if it has to

You might be able to use ls rods but why not just get some eagle rods?? they're cheap and can handle more power than you'll ever make. And yea, a vtec cam in a non-vtec head just aint happening.

ls rods - you need to notch the bottom of your cylinders so they clear the walls and use a set of vaitara pistons and you can run up to 20 psi maybe more anyway it drops your compression down 8 to 1 i seen a few people out there who have this and are running around 20 psi on a good tune

check it out for your self

dont know if it'll handle 20 psi... but i was going to use them in a build of mine... i had bushings pressed into where the wrist pin passes through. Wasnt that expesive, and they can handle (from what i've heard of) up in the high 200's low 300's MAX. Tuner Toys H-Beam Rods are the way to go man... but like was already mentioned, still have to notch the block.
