N/A boost=Turbo boost
hey i think i really need some advice...mah mind is just spinning around and cant really decide what i want...goals: 250 whp stock engine turbo.....later on rebuild and get around 300whp....
but for now i just dont see the difference between b16 and 18c1.. besides the stock torque and hp...what i really mean is that if i gonna go turbo i can go wit either engine right?? .. so i just need some advice to decided what swap to get for mah goals!!!

thanks by the way!^_^

You can easily achieve those goals with both engines.

people will tell you that you have more "potential" with the b18, but if you just want to achieve said goals, go with the b16 because its cheaper. It'll leave you more money for terrrrboooooouuggghhhh. .2 isnt THAT much of a difference to hinder your hp goal.

Yes. Then again there's a chance you can break it just puttering around too, but this is an elevated chance. More power will cause accelerated wear, and there's no way around it. The only way you'll be able to be sure you're getting the most out of it is to keep up on maintenance and make sure you get it tuned correctly.
