I don't get it though, why doesn't Wanderlei want to fight Lidell if he knocked out Jackson? Pride is looking more and more fucked everyday

I've said it once and I'll tell you again... I'd rather watch two 'nothings' fight it out than watch two 'professionals' fight. Why? It's more entertaining and they truly want to kill the opponent. Nothing like the animal coming out in a man.

that is true, Griffen Bonnar 1> Griffen Bonnar 2 from a pure excitment perspective

but Shreck Vs Franca was a highly technical 25 min affair and I was hooked for the whole thing

when did franca fight that big ugly disney character? is he even from disney? :dunno:

My guess is silva wants more money than what Dana White is willing to cough up. I bet Dana offered him 1/4 of what the old PRIDE owners would of offered him and he too it as an insult. Good for him. Rampage got $240,000 for fighting Chuck and an additional $240,000 if he won. $480,000 for a fight everyone and thier mom wanted to see!? C'mon Dana, what's another 20k just so he can at least break half a milliion. Meanwhile Oscar De La Hoya got 22 million for fighting Mayweather. The fighter payscales in MMA are a joke, seriously.

I understand boxing has been around forever and MMA is barely scratching the mainstream surface but damn, these fighters can't even get 1/10th of what boxers are getting? something is seriously wrong here...

As for Ortiz-Evans 2, i'm excited once again. Tito seriously looked gassed in the 3rd round and we all know he can go 5 rounds and barely break a sweat. Wether his "back injury" excuse is legit or not, there was something wrong with him, we all saw it. Rashad just looked scared. Maybe not scared of Tito, but scared to lose in the biggest fight of his career. I see Rashad coming out a lot more aggressive in thier next fight, but I still see Tito GnP'ing him in the second round.

What i'm really looking forward to is Penn-St. Pierre 2. I know St. Pierre is fighting Koscheck this next coming PPV event but hopefully they'll make Penn-Pierre 2 really soon :D

Koscheck will loose I'm betting

he got to fight Sanchez at his worst
it does seem that way on paper but even as good as Matt Serra is, no one gave him a chance against St. Pierre(except for me :D, seriously, me and Randy Couture probably were the only 2 who saw it coming lol) and look what he did. I also see Koscheck losing, but i wouldn't even be closed to suprised if he pulls it off.

oh, what's going on with the Jackson camp lately? Jardine knocked out Griffen, Sanchez was working his way up the welterweight pole in convincing fashion, Rashad was looking better and better with every fight, Marquardt was doing great...
...now Jardine gets his ass handed to him my Houston Alexander, Sanchez has one of the worst fights ever (sick or not, he should of never fought if he was in that bad a condition) Rashad just didn't come to fight in his last fight, and Marquardt gets his ass kicked by Anderson Silva...

is it the individual? or do you guys think the Jackson camp just hasn't reached that top competition plateau yet?
