I have a 95 Civic EX and putting in a H22 Prelude engine in it. I want more hp after the swap so what can I do? Turbocharge, headers, exhaust, and intake, can I install those parts? If so do I install parts made for the H22 or the 95 civic? will it fit?

i would do skunk2 intake mani and bigger t/b with amd h22 t3/t4 turbo kit boostin 6lbs and yuo prelude engine part and civic car parts(exhaust)

the thing on the back of your motor and the T/B(throttle body) opens and left more air in the engine
did you do he h22 swap

i am in the same boat i have a 95 civic ex and im about to drop an h22 obd1 with ecu and trans i was just wondering what motor mounts i might need from a d16z6 to the h22a please advise tryin to find more sites with info with mods

This is absolutely ridiculous... all of you need to do some research before even attempting anything like this.

this is the first site i have looked on and im just tryin to find the sites to do the research and im doing the work myself and soon to be opening a shop after school im just lookin for the sites

Well you are going to need a mount kit from Hasport Performance, Inc. or something like that.. and you'll have to cut the floor underneath your factory shifter out to fit the cables for the H22 trans unless you get an H2B kit.

H2B kit whats that and where can i get the info for it anyother information you can give me about the swap?

I don't have a website off hand but it's a kit that allows you to use a B series transmission with the H series engine. Try searching for it or maybe somebody else will post here with more info.. I know other people on here know more about it than I do.

Before you even begin on this, i would take a step back and be prepared for things not to work when you put that engine in. If you do not know what an intake manifold is, then you are in for a rude awakening...trust me.

I was there in (checks join date) April of 2005 (see one of my first posts....i didnt even know what a distributor rotor was).

You have a lot of reading to do before you even touch that engine.

Intake manifold runs my aem intake it runs the air and distributes it into all 4 cylinders. kinda like the header but in reverse. The distributor rotor spins around and hits the wires that run to the spark plugs . I know the basics of engine. Is there something specific about the intake manifold that I need to know about? because i always thought it was just easy as getting a better replacement.

need an answer please?

who first of all any one that does not know what an intake manifold is needs to do ALOT of research before attempting to do an h22 in an EG swap... yet alone any kind of boosting.

My question is about what boost is safe on an h22 on stock interneals with minimal obd1 tuning? "Minimal tunning meaning... FMU, 255 FUEL pump,Missing link, ect. ect...

i had a b16A in my EG it did damn good on 8 psi with no hondata... just the stuff mentioned before. then in search for more power with out pushing the engine or the "BANK"$$$ to far i swaped out to an LS/GSR. same p30 now 10psi felt good till i got use to it. now im craving more... ive done 2 other H into EG swaps. Both N/A Both felt great behind the wheel. tons of power to the wheels with stage 3 prolight flywheel. but do the hold up to boost. Please any help would be nice.

THANKS

You can't do the typical intake/header/exhaust and turbo at the same time, it doesn't work. If you're going turbo then you use a special intake, exhaust manifold, and a bigger exhaust then you would if you were staying naturally aspirated.

Do a lot of research before you buy any parts or else you're gonna end up wasting your money big time.

And by the way, you posted in the wrong forum. This area is for 1st generation Civics and CRXs (1st gen is pre-1988). You should have posted in the EG Civic and Del Sol forum.
