i have a 95 civic coupe dx and i wanna do a front end conversion do i need to modify the fenders and hood that i want to put on my coupe ??

most likely the 94 integra front end or whatever is easier and is there anything direct bolt on i kno i have to change out the rad support aswlell but im looking for a diff look that the stock look now like noticable but also easy to assemble

you'd need the whole integra front end

and

what does this have to do with wheels, suspension, tires or brakes?? wrong forum

ok srry it also says body soo i figured i was good lol do i need weld or modify the fenders or if i have the entire front end is it all bolt on ??

it would be better to just trade for an integra.

also, the 92-95 front end is probably my favorite of all the honda/acura platform. why mess it up?

Why do you want to do this?!? Why does anyone do this?!? If you want a car that looks like an Integra, then SELL YOUR CIVIC AND BUY AN INTEGRA!!!

I hate it when I see Civics with Integra front ends. What's so cool about having an Integra front end and a Civic rear? It looks like a Civic and an Integra humped and shat out a bastard Honda baby!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the 92-95 Civic front end! There's plenty that you can do with it to spruce it up if you think it looks too plain (lips, amber or black corner lenses, projectors, HID conversions, fog lights, etc.). Please don't turn your car into a half-Civic / half-Integra POS!

ok if u came in this thread to make front of what i wanna do get out and dont reply and if its soo wack and stupid why the hell did u waste 15 minutes of ure time to type an essay explaning why u dont liek it i want it i liek the look thats y i wanna do it u keep ure car the way u want it and ill do the same

Go back and re-read. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that questioned it. And I don't know how long it takes you to type 8 sentences, but it certainly didn't take me 15 minutes. As for why I took the time to write an "essay" explaining why I don't like it and why it's "stupid and wack," well ... I guess ... BECAUSE IT'S STUPID AND WACK!

Seriously, what's the point? It's a Civic, why does it need an Integra front end? If you want a car that looks like an Integra, then sell your Civic and buy an Integra!

What's wrong with the Civic front end? Like I said, there are lots of options for you (lips, corners, fog lights, HID conversions, etc.). I just think that the money you're going to spend on this would be much better spent elsewhere. But here, just so this isn't another "useless 15 minute essay," yes, you'll need the entire front end from an Integra, the fenders, and the radiator support.

If you absolutely MUST do a front end conversion, have you considered doing a 99-00 Civic conversion instead? That way at least it stays as a Civic and looks somewhat like it belongs. That might actually be a better choice if you want a "subtle but different" look like you said.

I'm sorry, but I just think the Integra front end on a Civic makes it look like a chopped-up bastardized half-Civic / half-Integra...

Yeah, I won't. I wanted my car to look like an Integra right from the start. So I bought an Integra...right from the start...

Did you even read my suggestion about the 99-00 Civic front end?

It's your car, and your money, so do whatever you want. It seriously looks like ass though...

i like lol how much for that front end with a stock fornt end lol and no wat u say about the 0ther frotn end ?

he said he has a coupe, so it might be a little different looking. i couldn't find any pics though.

My other suggestion was a 99-00 Civic front end. That would give you that "slightly custom" look you seem to want but still keep it as a Civic rather than a wierd-looking "Civ-Tegra."

Maybe get_nick is right though, perhaps it wouldn't look quite as bad on a coupe. I dunno though, I still think it would look pretty wierd. I'm not gonna argue with you anymore though, I don't want your thread to get shut down or anything. If you think it will look nice then go for it.

If you do decide to do the Integra front, I'd say at least get the 98-01 front end, it's a little bit different than the 94-97, and better looking in my opinion. A 98+ front bumper is on the list of stuff I want for my car.

I've seen pics somewhere, although I can't find them at the moment. It looked better than the hatchback but I still wouldn't do it myself. The nose looks too long or something...it just doesn't look like it matches the rest of the car.

well i was thinking a civic was getting busy behind the teg, and got stuck but hey, thats good too lol

Why don't you try an EL front end. That might not be so bad. I've seen on 6th gen Civics and it looks pretty good.

That would certainly be interesting, although 99% of people probably have no idea what the hell an EL even is, so he'd probably get tons of questions on it.
