Go fast, Go Cheap
hey guys,

so for the next four weeks i am in russia. I have been walking around the city i am in, yaroslavl. The car culture seems heavily focused on Ladas the great russian automotive company. I guess capitalism must be working to some extent though i saw a nice merc and several other nice cars. I am surprised with the popularity of mazda's over here too. people put teh mazda 6 on par with a 5 series.

the drivers are crazy too, if you can get away with it they do it. passing on the shoulder is not uncommon at all. much less disipline from when i was in germany, those folks new how to drive.

I have a blog going, if anyone feels like reading.

I just traded my sol for rob's crx. i wish i could drive it too bad it's 4600miles away.

what's Russia's favorite vodka? (just want to see if Smirnoff thinks they're the shit cuz they think they rule the USA or something) :p Good to hear from ya!

Take a ride in a Volga. Then drive it to Finland and my friend will take it from you for it's imminent export... Destination: My driveway.

Smirnoff is about as good at Grey Goose. Yea I said it, Grey Goose blows. Would you buy chinese food made by the British? No. Then why buy vodka made by the French? Let them make your wine. Leave the vodka to Iron Curtain.

Alcoholic...

haven't seen any smirnoff. I did see stoli though.

many of the brands are in russian and hard to read. I should've learned russian before coming here. eh, everyday i learn more and more. the most numerous cars are Lada's with huge engines we're talking 1200cc, 1400cc, and 1500cc. last night before going to bed i definently heard a street race going down.

lots of alcohol but many people drink beer (lousy beer) just on the streets.
celerity the volga is a river i am near.

smirnoff or grey goose are not true vodkas. real vodka is made from potatoes not grain. Chopin (spelling) made by belvidere is the cheapest potato vodka i can think of. also if your gonna mix vodka with anything you could never tell the difrence between topshelf and just above rubbing alchol.
