So I have $8,000 to put in my stock 01 Prelude H22 motor any suggestions?

just do all motor upgrades, i wouldnt recoomend boost unless your gonna build the motor, stock h22s usually dont handle boost very well. but good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Get the cash in your hand, and run as fast as you can to a stock broker. Plug it all into various mutual funds and forget it ever existed.

Sure they can- 350whp is quite easy and reliable on a stock internal H22.

hey im just curious are you taking out a loan or how did you end up with this money if its personal just ignore my post but if it was by something you did and want to share im interested

turbo kit, suspension, brakes. call it a day. you can do it all for less than $5k.

Check this months super street. On page 112 it lists how they built an N/A (all motor) k-series. I know this is a different engine but the essentials are the same. Get this stuff intalled well and tuned and you will have a frightfully quick lude. Oh, tou might want to put a little into the handling department (sway bars, springs, etc) to handle all that power. I have driven boosted and NA hondas and even though boosted ones may have higher peak hp, NAs are a lot more responsive especially under normal conditions, where more low-end torque is needed.

^_^
You should run just as fast to investing it as your car would be turbo'ed

sell the lude, and use that money + the 8 grand and cop a 3rd gen rx7 or a mr2 turbo, you will never regret it.
the bottom line is that a prelude will never achieve what a rx7/mr2 will.

What little faith you have in the Prelude. I wouldn't get the rotary because they're a money pit. Good horsepower, but like an old air cooled VW beetle, it needs constant work to keep it running right. Maybe the MR2, but hey, this is a HONDA forum. Why even talk about buying something other than a Honda?

Believe it or not ,,, Most the members here dont even own a Honda.

H2b, boost, suspension , brakes, thats still less than 8k . If you end up with a 1k or more . get the block sleeved with some pistons. Couldnt hurt.
