Ok so i got a b16a in my 91ef.
Well it has a rough start im thinking its the choke kit since it doesent fit, must be off somthing else.
Well just wondering a few things.
My car is putting the check engine light on, well the whole paper clip deal with the blue checking terminal thing is useless because , when i do it nothing happens so somthing is not wired right.
Is there any other way i can get the code say by the ecu or somthing?
Also (i dident do the swap) but are there motor mounts "inserts" called mad?
Well my engine doesent move when reving like a engine would with normal monts so im thinking i have inserts, well would the inserts cause my whole car to shack as it turns off?
Also its not a fast turn off its like a Vroooooooooooooommmmmmmmmm :shakes: kinda off, instead of a vrom off.

Lol its weird.
Also there is a 3 wires comming off the ecu that has to be made for the harness, well to are connected and go to the injectors when the other is not connected. What would that go to?
If you guys need pics i will do, i want to get this wiring fixed, since i dient do the swap im ganna need some help.

Oh one more thing is there any way to ad ac to my car, fuck its hot down here, can i make a speical braket to hold the compressor and just run a bigger belt with the alternator, or somthing clue me in on how to do it, just seems the compressor is the problem.

Thanks alot guys.

Here is a shot of my engine bay with the b16 pleas let me know if you see somthing wrong. Also what are the 2 red wires for on the left of the engine.
Like what do they go to.

read your codes on your ecu. theres a little circular window on the front with a flashing red light. https://hondaswap.com/reference-materials/88-ecu-error-codes-29109/ theres what you need for that.

your mounts are specifically for the swap. they are hard and will cause the car to vibrate with the engine, thus rendering your mirrors useless. lol. jus t get used to it, its not going away anytime soon.

those wires are for your knock sensor, vtec, oil pressure and second o2. chances are that if one of these isnt connected its causing your CEL (check engine light.) check your code then update.

Thanks bro i seen the red light i will check ity out/.

yup, what he said. listen to 'da man.
there should be four wires, not three. but look for the code on the window in the ecu first. find out what it says.

Ok so i took some pics and got the code its throwing a code 7 which is the 7- Accord Civic CRV CRX Del Sol Odyssey Prelude
85-98 86-98 97-98 85-91 93-97 95-98 85-98
TP Sensor (Throttle Position)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

Isent this the senor behind the trottle body if so i knew i needed a new one, if not tell me so.

Here some pics of my ecu wired up maybe the sensor dosent work due to this wires being unplugged i dont know where they go and they dont go with each other.

Heres a pic of 2 of the 3 wires not connected, there are pointed out in pink arrows.

yay for hackjobs, although i cant really say much, mine looks about the same. but i did it and i know which wire is what.
but replace your tps on the side of the throttle body, usually these are bad on swaps bc they are either broken during shipping or just get fucked up period. you can pick one up off ebay for about 30. dont try to get one from honda or a parts house bc they'll just try to sell you the damn throttle body, say they dont sell just the sensor.

the ones that are comming out of the main harness are nothing to worry about. those are the wires that were cut out to run the other wires in. the pins that you run vtec, op, knock, (i believe only three but i cant remember.) all have wires already running to them, which you have to cut and move away to run these new wires to.
your best bet would be to follow all of the wires from the sensors into the ecu and make sure that they are wired in, if they are wired in then make sure they are in the correct place. here you go:
