I hate having a roomate.

Im so fucking tired of having a roomate.
sorry if no-one tkes interest but i have to vent. and any advice would help, im bout ready to snap his neck

Been friends with this guy for about 4 years now and we've been roomates for about 2 1/2 years.

Ive done all kinds of shit to help him out this year and all i seem to be getting in return is disrespect. i loaned him $200 in january to get insurance so his license didnt get suspended. then another $315 in february to keep him out of jail. and on top of that all the backrent that he owes me, all in all about $700. hes paid a little back but you can tell its not in his priorities.

anyway, all i ask is that he attempts to pay me back, and doesnt bring anything illegal in the house. (drugs)
and animals arent allowed, period. its on the lease.

but in april, i find out that hes smoking pot in his room, on the roof, which faces the street that cops drive all day long.
i confront him about it and he starts with the "fuck you" bullshit.
we get that settled.
im sitting in the living room tonight and i keep hearing a noise like someones dropping shit upstairs, i go up there to look around bc nobody else is home. and a fucking cat jumps out.
I sent him a text saying that the cat gotta go, and he says that its not going and i can deal with it.

What the fuck?!?!?! im soooo fucking over having a roomate. i dont care if i can afford it or not but im on my own as of nov. no more people living with me.

if he's not on the lease, you can get yourself thrown out, so i think what you need to do is tell him that if he doesn't get rid of the cat, you will and in doing so, your roommate will have to leave. don't get in trouble for him being stupid.

ive called to see about having him removed and they said that they wont do that bc they approved us for the house based on both of our incomes. and the only way to get him off would be to wait until the lease is up and resign another one without him, which is stupid.

im trying to figure out ways to not get into trouble bc of him. it just pisses me off bc if they find out that he has a cat hes not losing anything.
considering that he only put 200 toward the security deposit. Im stuck in a fucking corner and cant find my way out.

then tell the landlord he's attained a cat without your prior knowledge. they'll have to deal with it, but they could tell you to go too. most likely they'll just make him get rid of the cat.

2) Tell him that the cat has to go, it says it on the lease and you're not getting thrown out. Talk to your landlord and explain the situation, that the cat is in the house without your consent and you want the animal out just as much as the homeowner, because you respect the owner's rules.

3) Tell his fuck you, to fuck off and that no illegal substances will be in the house when he resists and he's an asshole, wait until the next time he smokes and call the police.

well this is the first that it has happened like this.
we've nbeen friends for a good amount of time and he seems to have lost all respect for anybody. and i refuse to loan him anything now bc of it. his immaturity is now showwing more than ever.

yeah, i'll try that with the landlord bc the only reason i havnt broken the lease and moved out is bc this is the first place that i have rented and not fucked up on so i want to have a good reference for when i try to rent somewhere else. and if im going to end up loosing my deposit, im going to loose it by breaking the lease, not some goddamn cat.

and ive been waiting to catch him smoking in the house bc i want to call the cops. the cops in our town already hate him and try hard to catch him doing anything wrong. I live in lavergne, which has its own police, no county or metro are allowed to run here, and they have it out for him bc of some shit earlier this year. so they would love to get a call. but im only gonna do that as a last resort.

its either the cat goes and he quits the bullshit or im breaking the lease this week. thats what im gonna tell him tonight when he gets off. if im loosing my deposit then im loosing it on my own accord, not bc he chooses to be a douchebag. wouldnt be so bad except the deposit is $1100. and thats a good amount of cash.

i actually thought of that. im getting them out tomorow.

but i told him today that either the cat goes or im breaking the lease. he said to break it. so im going this week to break it. id rather loose the deposit and move out bc i can save that much by not having to pay the rent.

but then he has the balls to text me saying that im disrespectful to him. that i havnt worked for anything that ive had. and i dont deserve the shit that i do have.

every car ive ever owned, i bought with my own money. except for my current car which my mother bought for me this year. 1 car out of like almost 10.
said i dont deserve my gf bc shes so good to me and im just a ass to her. yeah, im an ass. but she knew that before we started dating 2 years ago, obviously im not too much of an ass bc shes been with me for 2 years.
then brings up my bike. my sister helped me with getting the bike. but ever since i got a license when i was 16, ive done everything my sister asked of me. she has alot of medical problems so she needs somebody to help her alot. and it is a lot. so when she came into some money from a lawsuit settlementshe bought her fiance a bike. and she decided that she wanted to help me get one. so i got my cbr.

it pissed me off bc hes never bought a car. they have been bought by his family.
he doesnt like his gf.
and he wants a bike just as much as i did.
and iv been covering most of his bills this year.

yes they do. but i dont plan on staying in one place long enough to buy a house. so im just renting. no credit. and i dont really care to own a house. i know its better bc its yours and you can do what you want but im too irresponsible. etc.

he dont get paychecks. they have a debit card that it goes on. not a bank account just a card given by the company. so i could do that but then have no money bc i dont have his pin.

and i dont have anything to do but get out. im not looking to get assault charges. im really level headed and not much for fighting. i just want to be out and for it to be over with.

and he has the cat. not me. i hate animals. his gf has some unhealthy obsession with cats. and when i agreed for her to stay here she said she wanted a cat and i said no, and they didnt bring it up again. she meows constantly, and meows at the tv whenever a cat comes on screen. i dont understand it. crazy.
