ghettoflyer08: hows the bike?
LAXGodfather: i love it
ghettoflyer08: lay it down yet?
LAXGodfather: yes once
ghettoflyer08: ouch
ghettoflyer08: how bad?
LAXGodfather: some ass hole cut infront of me at a stoplight
LAXGodfather: saw me go down, and ran
LAXGodfather: not bad
ghettoflyer08: yeah
LAXGodfather: just my knee scraped, and a few cosmetic damages to the bike
ghettoflyer08: you really gotta watch out on a bike
LAXGodfather: i know
ghettoflyer08: how fast have you gone?
LAXGodfather: im finding that out every day
LAXGodfather: haha 131 at night under fire on the track
ghettoflyer08: what was yout et?
LAXGodfather: what?
ghettoflyer08: your time?
ghettoflyer08: its a quarter mile right?
LAXGodfather: ya
LAXGodfather: 2.6
ghettoflyer08: whats that?
ghettoflyer08: your 60 ft?
LAXGodfather: HAHA
LAXGodfather: no 2.6 for the quater
ghettoflyer08: thats imossible
LAXGodfather: not on a bike
LAXGodfather: im pushing 100 in under 2
ghettoflyer08: dragsters run 6's
ghettoflyer08: no way
LAXGodfather: ya
LAXGodfather: its the clutching
ghettoflyer08: thats complete bs
LAXGodfather: HAHA
LAXGodfather: ur right, no im pushing my quater at a current 4.8 seconds
ghettoflyer08: no your not lol
LAXGodfather: wana bet
LAXGodfather: i have the slip to prove it
ghettoflyer08: top fuel dragsters don't do that
LAXGodfather: top fule dont do it cause there acceleration is not as fasst
LAXGodfather: my bike only weigs 380 pounds
ghettoflyer08: i go to the track alot with my car, and people running busas are in the 10's
LAXGodfather: NO WAY
ghettoflyer08: yea
LAXGodfather: damn they suck
ghettoflyer08: no
LAXGodfather: a busa loose to a car
ghettoflyer08: yeah
LAXGodfather: no way thats happening
ghettoflyer08: sure
LAXGodfather: well no
LAXGodfather: ur right
LAXGodfather: im thinking quater times
LAXGodfather: a busa is slower
ghettoflyer08: its all power to weight ratio
LAXGodfather: im not on a busa, the gearing is totaly different
ghettoflyer08: busa's are the fastest bikes in the world
ghettoflyer08: 1300cc;s
ghettoflyer08: ike 180 hp
LAXGodfather: yes
LAXGodfather: but an 650 SV will beat a 1000 GSXR off the line
LAXGodfather: depends on how the bike is geared, garentee a busa will out strip any car after the half mile mark
ghettoflyer08: even the quarter mile
ghettoflyer08: they "can" be ran in the 9's stock
LAXGodfather: yes, mine is not stock
ghettoflyer08: whats it have?
LAXGodfather: Speedy Clutch, no need to pull cluthc lever temporarly disengages clutch and engine with no need, its like shifting on the fly
ghettoflyer08: ok
ghettoflyer08: so that maybe gives you a few 10ths
ghettoflyer08: if you;re lucky
LAXGodfather: hits it at a higher RPM then standered clutch, not to mention my bike is one inch lower to the ground because of the lowering link, so it wont lift off at a higher RPM like most, as well as a sterring dampere,
ghettoflyer08: what did you really run at the track?
LAXGodfather: im serious, 10.2 on the quater
LAXGodfather: happy?
LAXGodfather: now i need the NOS
ghettoflyer08: 10.2 huh?
ghettoflyer08: nice
LAXGodfather: scary was what it was
LAXGodfather: 1st and 2ed im not a fan of, but hit 3ed and im gone
ghettoflyer08: cool
ghettoflyer08: well good luck with the bike
ghettoflyer08: safe
ghettoflyer08: stay safe*
LAXGodfather: im trying to be

Why did you keep the convo going? geez.

stock 02 CBR will do the 1/4 if pro riden around 10.6
0-60 I believe is in the 2.8 range.

SV650 while its a wonderful bike, couldn't even touch a 600 in 0-60 as with 1/4 mile.

SV1000 might get 0-60 near the same time but the 600 will still hold down a faster 1/4 mile.

busas are the fastest bikes in the world? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I believe they still are at least if we're talking about the first year busa.

I can't think of (haven't searched) of any stock bike that can break the 200 mph mark fully stock.

im a total newb when it comes to bikes... i could sense his BS, but i thought it would be funny to see what kind of BS hed throw out

ZX14s remind me of Matrix Sentinels.

"Speedy Clutch, no need to pull cluthc lever temporarly disengages clutch and engine with no need, its like shifting on the fly"

is there even such a thing?

Didn't the ZX-14 crack the 200mph mark?

I really don't know, the ZX12 went after it and failed the Blackbird went after it and failed, and the ZX14 went after it and I've never heard anyone talking about it or anything on the TV ads talking about it being faster. so I figured once again it came up short.

BTW the new Busa is out next year.

P.S I just searched around for a very short time and the fastest I saw was 196mph. My guess is the Busa still holds the crown.

Some, if not most of today's transmissions, don't really require the clutch. If you want to care for the bike, you'll clutch properly. But my bike shifts very easily (and quickly) by just knocking the shifter around.

Wet clutch, donchaknow.

fastest 1/4 mile for a motorcycle i was able to find was 5.99
and thats not anything even remotely streetable

moving up 4 more teeth on the sprocket isn't remotely streetable for most bikes. It gets too nuts.

a dude in town went up like 30 teeth in the rear and down 10 in the front or some shit. his cog is almost the size of his rear wheel. its nuts.

of course, he can do 2 mph 12 o'clockers :D
and top out around 70 in 6th. lol

#1 stunna

I went up 6 on the rear on my 636...top speed is just shy of 145 (down from my personally-achieved 170 before I ran out of straight road), but i can come out of corners without having to drop 3 gears :)

I rode my friends r6 with a 520 conversion.

Wheelied too easy.

I find it hard to believe that folks can do 170 mph on a public road of any sort. I've been to 160 on a track (Not even an impressive track speed) and it was nothing like I had imagined. It was complete pandemonium.

I hear all sorts of "130+" stories from bikers, and I have real trouble believing it. Fast, sure thing. But 130 mph ? 160 ? 170 ? 200 ? No way.

I did 100 last night and things were alittle too much pandemonium for me. (I was playing with another guy on a 250 Nin, and he didn't let off the throttle at all - lost me in about 2 minutes)
