i have a 93 integra special and i was wondering how hard it would be to put a 94+ front end on it. what all would i need if its doable and how hard would it be?. thanx

If you want the look of a 94+ Integra then honestly the best thing to do would be to sell your car and buy a newer one. Think hard about this...even if it's possible to do this conversion, would you really want to??? The 90-93 Integra body is boxy, and the 94-01 Integra is much more curvy. Even if you do put the newer front end on it's not going to look right with the rest of the car. Plus, this is going to be expensive. I doubt it would be a bolt-on affair, you'd probably have to do some welding to get the fenders to line up correctly.

Take the money that you'd spend on doing this conversion, sell your car, and then just buy the car with the look that you want. That's my advice.

Just wanted to say one more thing. Honestly, I really kind of like the look of the 90-93 Integra. It's got that "old school charm" to it, and there are things you can do to make it look better. You could get the JDM one-piece headlights and stick a nice front lip on it.

i know i know the look of a da is sexy i just wanted to do sumn diffrent you know. is there any other conversions that would be easyer?

Nothing really that I can think of. The only thing that would come close to being a bolt-on job is probably an 88-91 Civic front end, but why would you want that on your Integra? Seems like it would be a downgrade.

If you really can't stand the DA front end then honestly I think you should just get a different car. Any newer front end that you put on it is going to look funny because (like I said earlier) the DA is boxy and all the newer cars have a lot more curves. Any way you do it I think it's going to look funny.

I suppose you could go all out and do a front end conversion, rear end conversion, widebody, whatever, just totally make it look like a different car. But at the end of the day you'll probably have spend upwards of 10 grand, and I don't know about you, but I'd be feeling pretty dumb if I dumped 10-15 grand into a 14 year old car to try and make it look like a different car, when you could have just bought that different car in the first place for a lot less money.

Not trying to discourage you, just giving you my honest opinion. It's your car man, do what you want with it.

i wouldnt convert anything, if you keep up with the car scene in japan, you would know that the 91-93 2dr DA's are already becoming a collectors item just because of the body style. it's wider than the 94+ so you have a really mean stance plus its looks damn good sittin low to the ground with nice shoes. but thats just my 0.02 on the matter. whatever you decide, good luck

yeah true thanks guys. i just wanted to do sumn unique but i could probly spend that money on makn the thing fast cause we all know how funny it is to beat any of the muscle car guys in a ricer lol

honestly i would do a s15 silvia conversion ive seen it done but not often only because the hardcore honda fans despise nissan..but it is a beautiful coversion when done right..=]

Yeah, and then you have a front wheel drive Integra that looks like an S15, but it's not...it's just a FWD Integra. Doing that would be gay in my opinion.
