Did you know in some states, your horse can't be drunk? I learned a lot of frivolous facts in DUI class. One of them being, you actually CANNOT operate a motorized scooter, wheelchair, or other device while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This includes riding horses.

At work I saw a guy in a motorized wheelchair crashing into things because he was so drunk. Hilarious.

My dad was 'pulled over' in his motorized wheelchair while taking the dog for a walk. The cop asked him what he was doing. He replied 'Walking my dog, sir.' He said, 'It's illegal to operate that while drinking a beer, you know.' My dad laughed and said, 'Ok, well, my house is about 500 feet away. Care to escort me home?' The cop chucked and said to just make sure that he doesn't go out with a beer can in his lap anymore.

It's pretty funny, I agree. I can't imagine someone crashing into stuff though. I hope it was in good fun and no one got hurt... I think I'm going to go joyriding now. :D

No he wasn't hurting anyone but was having some trouble. Funny that you can't just push it in that situation. He had to get himself to the car.

My wife's cousin lives in PA. She said she's heard of the Omish getting DUI's operating their horse and buggies while drunk. LOL

"Omish" people don't drink.

They do so. I've watched them. They're less Amish than the ones who are strict. They even own a car. It's only used in 'emergency' situations. It depends on the particular community.
