im ordering a jdm b20b this weekend for my 93 integra. now my teg is obd1 with the b18a. the b20 is for a 97-00 integra or crv (i dont know what engine set up it is.. im assuming obd2??). what is it going to take to get that engine to work in my integra? just swap dizzys?

swap the dizzy, the injectors and the alternator and re-use your old engine harness, you will also have to swap over the upper engine mount and bracket that goes under the timing cover. Other than that you should be all set.

off the integra engine you are taking out, same with the rest of the stuff.

Im not familiar with them, I really only use my local guy for JDM engines, and they almost always come with the mounts.
But I'm not talking about just changing the mount, you have to change the bracket that bolts to the block that attaches to the mount in order to get it to work, it's 3 bolts under the timing cover, just switch it from the old 1.8

i think you could also reuse the b18 intake manifold for clearance issues. but that might be in b20>civic

i am doin the same swap as u so the intake manifold will work but wat exhaust off the b18 oh will a b20a5 gearbox work with the b20b

your stock ecu will run the engine, since there is no obd1 honda crv ecu since they didnt come out until 97. I don't think that it will affect it that much.

Worst case you could get a chipped ecu with a program for the crv, if it's even possible.

dont jack the thread hmongmyd.

i believe that the pr4 ecu is very close to the crv ecu. the cheap [not best] way to cheat and use the pr4 ecu with the b20 is to get an adj fpr and bump up the fuel psi until you dont hear detonation. shouldnt be much

I would get a chipped pr4. Using crome you can probably use the fuel multiplier for the larger engine displacement.

I have been running B20s for a few years now and you will be fine with your OBD1 PR4 or OBD1 P75 ECU. Also, I would go ahead and change out the intake manifold as well.
