Guess I'll be heading over to the PA border to buy some tickets.
 
I'm already in - I only play when it gets bigger, which obviously negates the point because the odds increase signifantly - but just the dreams of winning that much bank is totally worth the 10 bucks :)
 
yeah, i only play when its over 250 mil. i tried to get ticekts for wednesday when it was 248 mil or whatever, but i got to the store too late. good thing :D no one won...

or, maybe it was my ticket in the machine :(

We have a pool going at my shop. I have $10 in Mega Millions ($220 mil) and $15 in Powerball.

If somehow we win both drawings, zomg.
 
I bought one, also if you think about it you could purchase every combination of numbers and you'd be guaranteed a win not only for first prize, but second, third , etc... I just don't think there's enough time between drawings to print all the number combinations, not to mention the bankroll you'd need to purchase all the tickets.
 
its not that... its just that the odds are so frigging low of winning

you'd have to have a bankroll of 146 million dollars to get a 1:1 odd, which is really a 50/50 chance.

and then, if someone else has the same number, you get half.
 
yeah that's the pisser , although the odds of someone besides yourself have all cash wining prizes is low, I wonder if it would be enough to recoup the initial bankroll
