Yay for DOHC VTEC ^_^
C'mon now.
The listing show's a ton of us from all over the place and yet no one is posting on here. How about trying to assemble a meet?

I'm originally from Salem, Oregon, but as of right now I am stationed up here at McChord AFB, WA.

Can we get something going on between us two states? The drive would be about 1 1/2 if we met up half way from somewhere.

Anyone interested, look me up!!

me, silverchild (cam), smonkeyboy (i think), vanillakilla, there are quite a few around here. myself and cams are both prior air force. i actually live about 5 minutes from mcchord and cam's brother is stationed there also.

Sounds good. I am still not so familiar with the area myself. If we can find a good day, meet up somewhere and do something.
Or if we are only got an hour or two to spare, go to Denny's and just chill :p

we definitely need to organize a northwest meet. if you want to meet car people, go to the krispy kreme by the tacoma mall around 11 on friday and saturday nights.

what do you do in the air force?

I'm an Air Transporter.
Fun stuff. We are the ground crew/support for the planes.

Been physically training myself for switching into TACP.
If I stay in, I want to do something that's both physically and mentally challenging.

tacp huh? so basically you would be working for the army. i would strongly suggest doing something you can do when you get out. or at least work on your degree. there are a lot of local colleges near the base.

I have to wait for classes here on base cause I was a bit too late for the sign up part. The thing is I was close of getting my Automotive Technician degree. I would love to transfer classes from back home here, but I don't have time to attend a classroom (with in short...only sleeping 2 hours a day...).

As far as learning a new field, I am not sure. I would have to be online or self study just cause of my damn schedule.

don't take classes on base. you can still get signed up for fall quarter. just go to TCC (tacoma community college). take advantage of the 100% tuition while you can. fuck the on base classes. get a real degree from a real college.

I take it your active or prior?
I really wanna finish up my Auto Tech degree, but I can't find something like "online" or "text book" based. I can only get wed, thu, fri off if anything.

prior service. i didn't know how much a degree would help until i got out of the service. people don't really care if you are military or not.

what do you do for work now and what do you want to do after? there are a lot of options and you can go nights or days or whatever. i can help you out if you want. i know the schools around here in tacoma.

for sure dude, just bought a new hatch that i'm going to tear up the streets with. haha

If you guys are ever at Fairchild AFB, let me know. I live about 20 min from there. In the wonderful city of spokane, haha

Yo guys I just picked up a 92' Civic lastnight in Vancouver.
Gonna get started on it with some wheels, new tires, exhaust an cold air.
Wanna turbo it in a couple months, i'm almost out of highschool then i'll have the money to do it.

We right here, I got a 1990 Si Hatch. But I don't know shit on were to get connected with hookups for it. I want to trick it out. Holla

My best friends girl friend, her dad own's a import car shop in south salem, i can't remember the name of it, he hooks people up pretty good, i personally just go on craigslist.com or ebay an buy parts then do the work myself. that's what i'd do, get stuff a lot cheaper.

I am assuming you guys are both from Oregon?

The place that I used to go to was Speed Concept for parts and stuff. Going online was kinda sketchy for me, but sometimes that was the only way around it.

I can look around and see where my links are at; I got a brand new car so I can't technically have fun without voiding any warranty's.

Welcome to HS and hope I can assist.

I actually just sold my other honda on craigslist an bought a different honda civic on there. i always use it, an i'm ordering a new exhaust for my car on like sunday or monday off of ebay. thanks much, an i hope you can assist too. cause i still don't know a lot of stuff. where's the place at that you said you went to for you're stuff??

For my exhaust, I went over to West Salem to a place called "Woody's"
That guy was legit, honest, and threw every option to you that is available.

I'll keep digging around and see what I can find for ya.
