UFC wasn't fucking around, when the ref says the fight is over, it's over...

I understand it, this isn't the first time he's had this problem, the UFC can't show fights that end this way for obvious reasons, and they're still trying to prove they aren't a bloodsport.

Babalu wasn't gonna win a title anyways, make an example out of him and the problem goes away, I say it's a good call

I wouldn't say that he wasn't going to win a title. He won impressively in that fight and he's a talented fighter.

Dana said he canned him because he lost the fans' support. He's not banned from UFC, so from here he can go to K1, Xstrike, etc., etc. and fight until he builds up a better reputation and record and then come back to the UFC in the future.

Also, Dana White "practically guaranteed" that Lesnar would be fighting for UFC, in the same press conference.

lol, I was just fuckin around.

But yeah, the article said he's pulled that shit before. Better to make an example of him.

Your source is behind as well.

Matt Hughes and Robbie Lawler are leaving Militech Fighting so Hughes can open his own gym in St. Louis.

And Wanderlei is fighting in Dec :-D

He doesn't have a fight scheduled...

Shogun, however, does have a fight scheduled against Griffin.

Dana said that if Henderson were to lose in his division that if he dropped to 185 he would be the #1 or #2 contender in the division.

from wiki for the curious

Sobral defeated Heath by anaconda choke in the second round. Sobral held the choke for four seconds more after the fighter tapped out, which is illegal . Renato explained after the fight that he choked Heath unconscious because he felt disrespected by some of his opponent's pre-fight comments. Sobral will reportedly be fined half of his purse by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and may also face other disciplinary action as of 08/30 babalu was released from the ufc. dana white explained on a ufc 75 media conference call "Dana White has confirmed some noteworthy items in the beginning of today's UFC 75 media conference call:
-Renato "Babalu" Sobral was released from his contract due to the incidents that happened during his UFC 74 bout against David Heath. Dana White again talked about how it would of been worse had Babalu had an arm, leg or ankle. Still, Dana feels the fans turned on him and said he is out of his contract and out of the company due to his actions. [2]

i thought it was from one off the fights that happens before the main event. you know, the fights that the fighters are no name nobodies that just entertain people while they are trying to find their seats. they always have like 2 or 3 of those before they start the pay per view fights.
