4am and i'm just finishing wrapping up what i wanted to get done today.

i'm only about 1/2 way packed right now... and i load the truck thursday :(

between changing electric, water, my address, voter reg, license and dmv crap, to mortgage brokers, realtors, insurance brokers, lawyers for closing, renting trucks, and everything else, these past few weeks have been crazy.

i haven't seen my g/f in over a week... just don't have time. it blows ass.

i can't wait for it to all be over next weekend.
 
You're changing your voter registration and dmv shit right now?? Why?

When I got my license renewed I was still at my parents, I lived in two apartments, my brothers and then bought this house before I got it renewed with my "correct" address.

Good luck though, moving is a bitch, especially if you've just pulled a muscle in your back like I did.

I have moved so many times and sooo many people and I feel your pain !!! Beer makes the day a whole lot better !! Plenty of drinking w/ labor intensive work FTW !!

lol yeah... You are in for a big surprise... FYI, there is ALWAYS at least ONE fuckup on closing day... GUARANTEED..

And its going to take a few WEEKS before things calm down B...
 
Yeah, moving to your new place always uncovers some impossible problem. After moving twice, and helping friends move numerous times - I'd hire movers to move all the big shit.
 
That's why you pay a company to move it all for you. ;)

I feel your pain though- I moved 11 times in 8 years. Not fun.
 
Moving is great though, it gives you a chance to throw away craploads of unused stuff.

I usually fill a dumpster or three when I move from one spot to another.
 
I keep thinking of the movie 'Funny Farm' for some reason. Anyway, I'm gonna need an address if you want this fucking espresso machine.

Blanco - I'm with ya on that... it makes you wonder if it fills all that, how'd you get it all to fit inside your house?! lol

No, I didn't ask anyone, and Brian doesn't owe me anything. I'm just saying, no one helped me move except this poor friend of Turbomirage's that I'm friends with as well. He came from Massachussetts and did what he could to help. Appreciated that.
 
i didn't even know you were moving until you told me you had moved. ou can't expect help if people don't know what you're doing :)
 
Crazy...I just finished moving myself. Could have been worse.

Funny how a $19.95 rental turned into $45 after it was all said and done. And I only took the damn truck 6 miles.
