where'd you find an f20b for cheaper than h22? f20b is rarer than h22a and usually newer as well, so it's almost always more expensive. if you found that, you either got a damn good deal or you weren't looking hard enough for an h22 to begin with. and the f20b engine is basically an h22a engine in 2.0 liter form. why they called it 'f20b' instead of h20 is beyond me. but beyond that, the h-series engines and f-series engines (including f20b, but excluding f20c and f22c) all use the same mount pattern and clutch/flywheel combo as well. so like was said already, all you really need is the f20b longblock. if i'm not mistaken, intake manifolds will even swap over, although using your stock im will almost surely sap some ponies. with that in mind, h22 axles may be stronger, so using them probably wouldn't be a bad idea. also, f20b transmission has lsd stock, at least sometimes. so does the h22a tranny. you could probably find an lsd'd h22 tranny for a few bills.
