i not to long ago bought a 91 hatch that had a b16 swap already done. the tranny was never bolted to the rear mount. is there a reason for this other than laziness/forgetfulness? if not does anyone know the bolt size so i can stop this clunking?!
thanx

Yea someone missed a bolt on my b16 swap into a 91 si hatch, they missed the bolt that goes into the tranny. The tranny mount bolt. So everytime i go backwards i get a clunk sound, i also need to know the size, i cant fine any bolt to fit.

Go to your local hardware store, find the metric bolts, and find the M12 by whatever length it is.. I would tell you what I used on mine but I already threw all the packaging away..

They are only a dollar or so per bolt.. Go pick up a couple and take the ones that arent long enough back..

Speaking of that, I need the very lowest one.. Time to go to Ace Hardware..

Do you mean as you engage Reverse? I'm pertty sure most/all hondas make that "Clunk" as they slide into reverse? I could be wrong tho I know the ones I drove have

No as i reverse and let the clutch out it goes glunk, because its missing bolts.

the bolt size is the same as engine side bolt and tranny upper bolt same fine thread and length;)
