I hate voicemail.

Everytime I get a vm it is either from some dumb company I do not want to talk to, or it is from a friend and goes like this, "Hey its XXX. Call me back!".

It is such a hassle to open the phone, call voicemail (wasting minutes), only to hear something like the above.

If the person really needs to talk to me asap, then they should text me.


Anybody else out there on HS hate vm's?


Right now, my phone is off, and i am calling it/leaving messages untill the vm is full lol.

I would rather get a voicemail than them just hanging up.

I don't want to just chat with my friends. i dont' have anything to say. call me for something important, and if i miss it, tell me what it's about.
 
Then what is the point of having a phone ????

What phone company charges you to call your voice mail ???? GAY!!!
 
I fucking hate text messages. They suck to write and cost me 15 cents each for something they could have just left in a voicemail or said if they called me in a quick conversation.
 
I prefer voicemails. if you dont take the time to leave one, i dont take the time to call you back. im a pretty busy guy, if i miss your call its for a reason, but if you leave me a vm, i check it pretty immediately. if not, ill call you quite a while later.
 
i hate it when people spell hate h8.

Id rather text than actually talk to one of my friends. Call me antisocial, but i hate the phone..

me to. i get sick of talking on the phone. i do it when i work, with a text i can ignore it and still be in the loop when i read it.

unless its someone i know sending out a mass alert message to everyone, something like "kid was born 8:25am name ____ weight __ height ___ " or "strip club tonight 9:30" or "b-day party @ _____ bar friday 9pm" or "coffee y0!" or "code white!!!"
shit like that i dont mind
i fucking hate when someone texts me with "hey whats goin on tonight"
and not many things make me want to choke the fucking life out of someone quite like being text messaged with "hey gimme a call when you get a chance"

frankly, if i get a call and miss it, i will see it. no need to leave me a vm.... chances are, i'll call you back saying "hay, saw you called... whats up?" :)

cingular is at&t. but yeah, sprint/nextel sucks. actually, they all suck.

Damn I didnt know cingular is At&t .... I just got rid of my cingular plan and went to verizon.

I dont think this world would survive without cell phones these days!!

Got a tv but I dont watch it due to being on HS all the fuckin time... lol

say what you want about nextel... their network kicks ass, and walkie talkie beats txt and vm by a long shot. if they aren't there, no message to leave, if they are, quick exchanges back and forth. done.

I don't care either way. My phone barely ever rings anyway.
