To start off, the project is continuing off at 3 years since being in Japan for the last 2.5 buying parts and working.
I bought a 1992 civic Dx 4Dr for about 250 sitting in a field and now bringing it back to some life.
I have stripped it down, body work and paint all done, new OEM moldings almost all complete.
Questions however started to arise when I swapped my old D15 for a JDM 1992 B16 with hydro tranny from a indentical EG I found in Japan and pulled the parts from.
I am still shipping parts back to the US from that car!!
The main question is VTEC wiring, can I use the USDM harness in the fire wall / ECU to a OBD1 VTEC harness with no problems or do I need addtional wiring?
Next question axles? Can my old DX axle knuckles fit the JDM B16 axles no problem? I have not tried yet?
Third question, Can a B18C timing belt from GREDDY fit a B16 no problem?
Last question, can a B16 AEBS intake manifold work properly without the bracket support underneath that is attached to the block? My new AEBS intake Mani will not fit unless I take it off.
