What is my best bet on getting and swapping a Hatch

Hey Im looking at hatches and even though they are hard to find I want to know what kind of motor is going to give me the most bang for my buck and wont be too hard to swap in. Any ideas?

my price range for just the engine, components,and maybe tranny: $2000

for that price just buy a good name brand turbo kit for your stock motor or get a b16. but the turbo will on the stock motor will be faster

$2K for the car and swap?? Not happening. Look for one that's already swapped. That's your only shot at getting it for $2K.
