Doin work!!!
Does anyone know if the F20b sir will directly bolt into a 95 ex? Does the F20c out of the s2000 have the same bolt pattern???

F20B should go fine into an Accord, but the F20C will not.

Not really- the CRV is still mostly a FWD setup with a transverse engine, and it has a transmission that sends power to the rear wheels every now and then. The B20B/Z and the new K24s can be used in a FWD setup, but the F20C cannot- at least not without some custom fabbing.

the f20b DOHC VTEC engine is just like the h22. you might need motor mounts not too sure about that year accord if the stock mounts will work but besides that everything should bolt up fine

I was hoping maybe the f22 or h22 would bolt to the f20c, oh well. Thanks on the input about the f20b though!

If you're anywhere near the Dallas area, go visit Chase up at Intercrew. He's one of the older guys that works there, and he's got an F20B running in his CRX.

f20 Only fits into the s2000 unless you got alot of $$$$$ to build somethign custom

No. F20B is a transverse mount that bolts up the same as The F22B and H22/H23. F20C is S2000... and it doesn't take that much money to get it to work in a FWD setup.

ive heard of a couple of projects to make the F20c work into a front wheel drive setup but nothing that ive head completed, but what tranny would you use to do so?? im pretty sure a h or f serieds tranny wont bolt up

On another note, will the f20c internals and or head fit the f20a or b?

My lips are sealed. :)

why sealed???...i think that its a pretty interresting question!!.. what tranny would u use to make it work?? and what axles would you use and how would you mount the motor in?? once the motor has been transversrd to go in where would there be provisions for motor mounts??? just curious

the head most definately wont work....not too sure about the internals but im leaning towards no..remember, you have to keep in mind the h22 dohc vtec, h23 dohc vtec, f20b dohc vtec and the h23 non vtec are all the same motors with variations in the displacement and ovibously vtec provisions, jsut becuase the s2000's f20c is in the "F" class of motors dosent mean that the parts are interchangable

Trade secret. I see a lot of things I'm not allowed to talk about. Seriously.

If you can figure it out, go for it.

f20b is just like an h22. pretty much whatever you would do for an h22 swap is what you do for an f20b swap.
f20c is not at all related to the h or f series of motors that are somewhat related and interchangeable. unless you have 10-15k, it's not happening. and by then, you might as well just buy an f20c-powered s2000

I have heard of people modifying the bell housing of the K series transmission to get it to bolt up to the F20C/F22C in a Lotus Elise/Exige.
Just, I'm not searching google for stuff I have little interest in. Just get K.
unless you can get the engine to run backwards. then you can se the transmission on the passenger side. And reversing engines partway through their life, has a few possibilities issues.

In order for it to work properly you need to have the transmission on the drivers side.

K > F
