Went and got my tires mounted today.. they're not on the car yet, but once its gets a solid coat of primer i may throw them on .. i noticed when they were balancing them, two of them have slight bends in the rim (one that definitely needs to be fixed, the other should be fine) so i'll be taking it to one of their other shops that repairs wheels.. $40-$50 for repair
went with the Bridgestone Potenza RE950's.. $220 mounted and balanced

not really.. got the rims and tires from a friend for $250.. the tires were pretty new still so i sold them for $120 because they weren't what i wanted.. and these tires were $220 mounted and balanced so thats $350 with some possible rim repair $400-
 
Nice rubbers, can't wait to see those rims & tires on your car.
 
well, gonna start prepping the body for the $50 paint job this week.. with buying a house and everything, money is limited so i gotta do what i can afford and $50 is about it for paint.. hahah..
 
Damn, I should drive a Honda again. 20 inch wheels and 275/50r20 tires almost 1500 bucks on my Silverado.

Hey, do a write up on this and your impressions. I'm considering it for the del slo. You're talking about the $50 paint job all over H-T, right?
 
yea.. the one that started on the mopar forum.. now its everywhere.. but thats what i'm doing.. i'll probably just roll some primer on for now and once i get moved into my house where i can keep it parked in the garage i'll do the rest.. but i planned on starting a DIY Thread when doing it..
 
eh, .. not like i'm gonna do the whole thing over a weekend.. probably do a couple of coats every couple days.. the in between days i'll be sanding
 
eh, not a big deal to me.. about an hour or two out of each day.. it'll give me something to do other than sit on HS all day.. haha

The last set of tires that went on my Civic were $880 mounted, and that was pricematched to the lowest number I could find online.
