Looking at swapping a B20 into a 95 del sol for a track car.

I know the intake manifold needs to be swapped, since it won't clear the hoodline. Will the B20 with say, a GSR intake mani clear the hood? Or do I HAVE to swap out the head as well?

Also, BAR is only California, right? I live in Az, and I'd like it to be street legal here. thanks!

GSR manifold wont bolt up to a b20 unless you put a GSR head on it.. you'd want to put the b18b intake manifold

dont see why it wouldnt clear the hood.. many people have swaps in Del Sols and they're fine

Found this quote which is why I was asking:

There are really two choices for dealing the B20 as far as power goes. You could leave it as is and simply swap the head for B16 model. The cylinder head on the B20B model (particularly the tall intake manifold) doesn't clear the hoodline of the civic, which is ok since the B16 head swap will add Vtec abilities and increased power. OR you could go about what is called a CR-VTEC conversion.

I don't want to do the VTEC conversion, the HP increase I believe would automatically push me into a higher category.
