i'm very pessimistic. i've been saying the UFC is going to crash for quite a while. eventually they are going to have managers, female escorts, and face makeup. kinda like wwf. this is only the beginning.
the only fights i would care to watch right now are griffin/evans and sanchez/koschek. and neither will happen.

Both of those fights don't seem to be the best match ups at this point, and most people other than yourself don't want to see them
Henderson needs to drop to 185 and fight Silva or Franklin after they have their fight.
Sean Sherk needs to defend against Kenny Florian at the lightweight division.
Rampage needs to fight Wanderlei and then Griffin needs to fight the winner of those. Alexander should fight then have one of those three guys.
Heavyweight division is a bit messed up now, though.

Jardine is god awful. Seriously, he's terrible. Liddell was just more terrible on that night.
I don't think anyone who has seen Florian's fights can say he's overrated.

jardine is a very unpolished fighter. but he's a brawler. see:tank abbott with kicks.
florian is overrated. just recently his conditioning has improved. he used to be a butterball. his standup is garbage.
rampage is a smasher. he wont win a technical, long lasting fight. griffin is good, has heart, but he's a bleeder. and fighters like bleeders. he's getting better and in a couple years will be a top contender.
right now, the UFC doesn't have my attention like it used to. It's becoming more of a novelty. but at least it's better than boxing.
