I bought an ECU that doesnt have a id sticker on it. Wasn't thinking. Any way, with everything hooked up, my VTEC didnt work on my new motor. I made a jumper harness and drove the car, the VTEC worked everytime after that. The plug into the ECU isnt exactly right, that may be my prob. Is there any other way to find out??


Also, if i do have the wrong ECU, my temporary fix idea is to hook up a switch to VTEC, is there any thing that be messed up by doin this. I dont want to hurt my new Frankenstien over something stupid. Thanks guys
 
i was going to open both my p75 and p72 (supposed) to see if there any differences, but havent yet. I will do that soon, thank you for the tip
