hey everyone i have just recently installed an aftermarket alarm in my 96 honda civic ex, and could not get the power door locks to work with the keyless entry, and i have heard that a factory unit comes pre installed in the 1996-2000 civics in the radio as long as the vehicle has power locks, is this true that i can connect the factory radio and use a fctory remote from the dealer or a donor civic.

i have removed the aftermaket alrm now it started screwing up.

also if anyone knows of a 99-00 civic front end parts for sale i need a whole front end, looking for bumper, headlights, hood, fenders, and grill. thanks
 
If you want to re-install the aftermarket alarm I have DEI's TechSoft reference program for their alarm installers that shows all the hookups so I'll post that and the end of this. If you were trying to just put it back to stock I'm pretty sure you could replace the factory radio, get a factory remote, and program it to work but your aftermarket alarm is going to be better if you're keeping the car. Anyhow, here is the info that I have for the alarm connections you're going to need..

Notes:
*1 Drivers side fire wall under hood. *2 Factory alarm plug located behind radio. (green/plug). *3 Can also use blue/yellow for driver door unlock only. *4 Male blade terminal at fuse box. Also at the back of the dimmer switch. *5 Can also be found in a light green plug above the fuse box or bottom of drivers kick, harness to rear. For dome supervision use lt. green/black at factory alarm/keyless plug. *6 Also available at factory alarm plug. (lt. green).

well i went by what you told me cuz this is kinda hard to read/understand, so i just asked you if you could email it to me in a clearer way, thanks if not oh well its not a big deal
