I have a integra spec type r shift linkage in my crx with b series swap. It doesn't fit and the seller said its a bolt on. Has anyone actually cut it and welded it back. What were the measurements to cut? Thanks.:)

Anyone have any idea. I looked here on hondaswap and none about custom MADE one. All is buying hasport ones. Any help will be very much appreciated.

You'll have to shorten it and weld it back together, but I don't know how much you need to take off.

Why don't you mount it in the car and measure the amount by which it is too long..

Or better yet research stuff before you buy it and then you wouldn't have the problem in the first place.

heres the linkage

You didnt look very hard! Really, I think it is like 2 3/8 inch of each piece. Like norcalgsr said mount it and make your measurments. It could be different depending on what mounts you used or you could just buy aftermarket linkage.

This is the best I can find... Shortening the shift linkage

Other places say that the mount kit determines how much to cut off. Some kits sit the motor closer to the firewall, closer to the crossmember, or dead center like the HaSport kit. If you have the HaSport Kit, then 2 3/8 inches is correct. other than that, you're gonna have to measure it.

:bash:

:fuckyou:

What's wrong was making a simple measurement and cutting/welding some pipe too hard for you?
