YEEEEAAHHHHH
I know there are a few metal heads on here, and given the recent downward spiral of the mainstream music industry I figured that all was lost.
I was wrong.
I've been a huge Soilwork fan since Natural Born Chaos came out, and I've been waiting for their new release- Sworn To A Great Divide. Picked it up on my way home from work today and....oh my god. The album is amazing. I've listened to it 2 times through so far and it only gets better. The last time an album caught my attention like this was KSE's End of Heartache. Everything is so polished and so well thought out and all the songs have their own theme to them. I'd recommend this album to anyone who enjoys metal, rock or even a bit of hardcore. Soilwork isn't as harsh as they used to be, they don't thrash as much on this album, but they make up for it with great riff's and good vocals. A bit of old Soilwork can be found on tracks like "The Pittsburgh Syndrome", with quick guitar work, and fast vocals.
Album gets a 9.8 in my book. There are tons of Torrents out there, but I'd suggest buying this. $12.99 well spent. Currently iTunes doesn't offer it on their online store, but who cares about iTunes anyway?
