New Brakes Shaking, Help Please!!!

Just did whole brake system, Hawk hps, Brembo blanks, rebuilt caliper in front. Out back brembo drum, new shoes, cylinder, springs. Also did Goodridge stainless lines. This is on a 91 civic si. When going over about 30 and lightly pushing pedal I get vibrating. Do you think rotors are warped (didnt check runout due to being new rotors) or do stainless lines need a break in or something? Help me please!!!

i would first make sure there isnt anything behind the rotors where they meet the hub
often there is crap built up there from the old rotors and that will cause them to feel warped
hit the face of the hub with a wire brush to clean everything up

I really doubt that the Brembo blanks would be warped out of the box since they're real good quality parts. I'd do what E said and also make sure to torque your wheels properly that can warp rotors if they aren't torqued evenly to the right spec.

It turns out the the brembos were warped new out of box. I cant return them because they are used now. Had them turned and still getting a little vibration. I now really really know that I have the worst luck.

Where did you get them from? regardless they should take them back cause the only way to tell if they are warpted is to actually drive on them.

TireRack.com, they wont take them back after being used. supposed to measure runout before installation. there goes my wishful thinking

That's shitty I've never had a single problem with Brembo's..

Are you putting your wheels on with a torque wrench?

yes, every single thing done has had a problem. I have come to realize that I do have the worst luck in the world.

Sell them on ebay and buy from a reptuable place.

I wouldent buy a damn thing from TireRack.com, even if my life depended on it.

Thanks but no thanks, you have not helped me one damn bit with that shit that you talk. Why would I want to sell someone stuff that is known to be damaged just to ruin my 100% reputation on Ebay? TireRack.com is a very reputable place. Are you stupid??? It is people like you that make others worry about their Ebay experiences. If I need your help I will ask for it so stay out of my threads. Thank you in advance. Thanks to everyone who was actually helpful.

I know this post isn't hardly related to your issues, and i'm sorry to hear about your problems with the brembo's, but shit happens I guess.

What I was going to say is, after you've used this setup for a while, you might want to swap to rear discs from a 90-93 integra, its a rather easy swap with great benefits!

Yeah I've seen more than a few posts of BS from that guy.. I wish I could help you more with your problem but I don't know where to go from there. Maybe try to get a manager of TireRack.com on the phone and talk them into fixing the problem for you? It's worked before at other places local to me in the past...

I'm sure he already knows about that conversion, and it doesn't relate to the original post at all.

Well maybe, just by chance, he doesn't....just trying to help someone out. Read the first part of my post and it says that i'm well aware that it doesn't relate to the original post. :)
