1.ECU
2.Motor/Transmission mounts
3.my ac compressor doesnt work so im just leaving it out.
4. Do i need a wiring harness form another car
5.will my transimission bolt up to this motor? i looked on all data web site at work and it looked like my car and the civic si have the same 5 speed manual transmission but i could of mis read it.

Im new at the engine swap and really need some help.

you need the b16. b series tranny, ecu, for that motor, new axles, shift linkage, and a couple of mounts, and just use your stock harness and just add the wires you need like vtec

the bair minimum u need is motor mounts, tranny, axles, shift linkage

this will get ur motor in and running if u need 2 get it runnin fast ur vtec wont work till u get a new ecu and make the wirings for the vtec.

thank you. that helped anybody know exactly which motor/transmission mounts that i need so i can got to the junk yard and rob them out of a car?

I have no clue where you got the idea that your LX tranny would bolt up to a B16. With the exception of the F and H-Series motors, Honda engines and transmissions from different series do not bolt up to each other.

Plus, as you mentioned, the LX in stock form is an economy car, the long gears of the LX tranny wouldn't suit a high-revving B16 at all.

u should be able 2 find the wiring for the vtec in 1 of the many articlas on this sight just talk ur tim and look for it i dont remember off hand tho
