I just beat Slah in an Axe Battle Last night

anybody play this yet? It's harder then II

Maybe if you suck at II. I was playing 96% on some of the expert songs on the demo of III.

I just read this, havent tried it yet:

To battle with Lou using Easy Mode notes, try the following. When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert Mode), strum without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it in its entirety. After the "Lesson Complete" message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu.
From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will be set to Easy Mode now. Your note chart will still be in Expert Mode, but Lou's will be in easy mode.

Most of the songs through the 1-6 setlist on Hard I was missing like 2 notes total in each of the songs.

I agree, it didnt get too too nuts until the last 3 sets.

Have you played "Forget to Remember" by Slipknot? On hard... uhh.. FAIL. lol

I found one difference between 2 and 3. On the hammeron/pulloffs, you CAN'T strum them on 3. On two you could strum them even when you didn't have to and it'll play the note. if you do it on 3, it'll add an extra note or miss the note altogether for some reason.

Really, Im not a big hammer-on pull-off guy. I can do it but my brain doesnt work fast enough. I havent had an issue though with strumming fast. Did you calibrate the game?

i just cant beat raining blood, ive got 4 or better on most of the others, on expert that is.

i havent picked it up yet but plan on it. I did play on the demo on the 360, its bad ass

I believe when you pause you can do it as well as in the options menu in the beginning. You can calibrate the strum point

I'll look into that, cause I feel like I'm hitting them and they aren't playing. Like the beginning of Slipknots song. Maybe there's just a lower tolerance to hitting the note just before/after it's location that was more lenient in GHII.

It's pretty freaking hard on expert.

We got to the end and it definitely took too long.

The last tier on Hard in III = the last tier in Expert on II.

Solo A in "One"... I suck at that.

anybody know a good way to get more money in guitar hero 3?

play the easier levels like in GH2? I think the "band" holds onto all the money from all the levels.
