I own a B16 with a bunch of bolt ons. I will be doing more to the engine, Nitrous and head work. But those are future six months maybe a year projects. So basically this is a stock engine I just want to get the best performace out of my car and use controllers to help the engine from getting messed up. I am looking at a AFC NEO fuel controller and a 2 Step Rev Limiter. What are the advantages to both, and what are the down sides of them and are they worth the money two step is about $160 plus installing it and AFC NEO is $370. Any help would be great I know what 2 step controller does and what the AFC NEO does. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I would recommend saving your money for now, and wait to do the big mods before worrying about tuning it. The dual stage rev limiter is pretty much a launch controller for drag racing as far as I know.

honestly, my opinion, the 2 step right now would be pointless. its almost winter and the drag strips most likely will be closed. Thats something i would wait and get next spring.

Not to mention those things are best used when you are running SLICKS at optimum temp.

Street tires are too unpredictable for a rev limiter. You could potentially have to re-calibrate it every time you launch.

Stop being a woman and learn how to slip a clutch.

I have a six puck racing clutch and it does not just slip plus I have 17" toyo proxes and they grip like a mother. I can rev the engine to 2500 rpm but I want the same results every time. So thanks for your advice.

Again, learn to drive your car.

If the parts you use are too advanced for you then replace/change them.

A rev limiter has no practical use outside of a race track. It also needs re-calibration depending on the temperature.

If toyo proxies grip like a mother, then you have never driven on a real tire.

Seriously Toyo Proxes and grip shouldn't be used in the same sentence unless 'don't have' is between them

They are the worst tire ever.

The only reason they are even popular is because they are heavily marketed thru pep-boyz, town-fair-tire, and the like.

Stupid ricer rubber.
