ok so iv had my sir for oh just a little over a year iv dumped sum money into it and im fairly satisfied or so i thought... went to the track after doing my clutch and flywheel and dint run wat i wanted to, changed my header intake and exhaust and got a bit where i wanted to be for wats done, 15.1 (with bad launchs should be better next time i go...)
and i figured before i start dumping serious money into it well i want sum f***in torque lol
b16a2 = WTF IS TORQUE lol

so im doing a b20vtec swap.

heres what i need from u guyz! im building the bottom end and leaving the head stock for a season then building the head.

so heres wat iv come up with for wat i need so far (using my b16 tranny btw!)
oh and i might use the b16 head i may buy a gsr head i havnt decided!

heres my list if i miss anything please lemme know!
also! - i was told u cant etest an obd1 engine in a obd2 car? is this bs or true?

now i think thats it...
i duno what kinda power thats gonna make with a b16 or gsr stock head u guyz got a ballpark figure?
like i said ill be using a b16 tranny witha 7lb flywheel and a stage2 clutch aswell

if u have any suggestions on things ill need or should get please post em up thanks!!
 
Ballpark? There's no way to tell- nobody knows how you'll tune it, and you don't even list specs on your pistons.

thats cuz im not 100% sure about everything yet, i dont really care about the ballpark hp i just wanna hear sum suggestions on wat to change or wat to get...

There's not really much to say with what you've posted- it's just a basic rebuild with undefined performance pistons, rods and cams.
 
I suggest RS Machine Pistons w/Eagle rods.

Or, if money isnt an issue...

CP pistons w/Eagle Rods

Be ready to dish some dough out. This shits not cheap. All Motor cars are hard to find power with, without spending a lot of time on the dyno. Street tunes wont cut it.

What times did you wanna run with your previous setup?
 
i was thinking eagle rods but ill look into the probes now,

and i was hoping ot run what i ran with my car by the seasons end, 15.1, i figured out how to launch better so i think i coulda got a better time but its too late to find out now :( maybe next year before i drop in the b20 :)
